So excited about this Sephora Haul blog post.
As you may have seen on my Snapchat @nadia_mua I have been starting to film a series of Sephora haul Youtube videos.
First up is the New Years Eve look ive created using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaisance palette. This palette is fairly good however not as pigmented as I thought it would be. Since the video I used the palette on myself and discovered that somehow this is one product from Anastasia that it is surprisingly not all that its lived up to.
Don’t get me wrong the colours are hot but the pigment wont match up to Kat Von D, Makeup Geek or even AOM pans.
I created a smokey spotlight eye makeup on model Karishma. I went for the look she wanted as being a makeup artist I find every challenge set something to get my makeup claws into.
I went for a pretty, princess look with a fishtail braid. The contour and highlight was created with Kevin Aucoin Limited Edition, yes limited edition! Contour Palette 4-in-1 Face Essentials Sculpt.Highlight.Bronze.Blush. This is fantastic and I will be certainly keeping this as my staple as it has a subtle highlighter in it which doesnt make Asian/Indian skin tones look ashy nor like someone/an alien from Mars. The contour shade has the perfect greyish shade of brown and the bronzer is a must have which I uses as a blush.
I used the (also) limited edition Becca Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector® Mineral Blush Duo. The highlighter was Prosecco Pop.
